Garden Bliss

Happily my garden is in full swing. I have been busy dividing perennials, trimming shrubs, removing and replacing rabbit damaged lilacs and mulching like a mad woman. We had an unseasonably cool and wet spring which makes my garden tasks that much more challenging. Today the temps are in the 90's with dew points in the 70's. My recently planted gems are in a state of shock. I speak gently to them as I do my best to quench their thirst. The Peonies are blooming in all their splendor - I really need to clip a few and try to make a pleasing portrait of them. I have some interesting vegetables that are also begging for some camera time. Oh, I also need to do laundry and buy groceries, but for the moment, I would rather spend my time quietly watching that momma sparrow feed her babies.
Until next time ~
